Lightweight and easy to clean

Lovely, yet lighter than hardwoods and treated with lacquer, they are easy to keep clean. The maple laminate is easy to lift; the bamboo is just a bit heavier. Our luxurious desks are designed to support your arms and to lift your working surface 3 inches (small) and 5 inches (large) so that you can relax as you write, read, eat, use a computer, etc. We use shredded foam filler instead of Styrofoam. The shredded foam regains its original shape when you pat the pillow.

Customize your Lap of Luxury

We love custom lap desk orders! For $5.00 per inch, you can order a wider maple lapdesk. All large desks are 16" top to bottom but they can be as wide as 30" and come with a wider attached cushion. The extra width is good if you use a mouse with your lap top. If you are a crafter, you can have the pencil ledging built all the way around the top so that your materials do not escape ($10.00 extra).
